John has over 20 years experience in the IT industry as an instructor/consultant, the last six years primarily leading VMware authorized training classes as a VMware Certified Instructor (VCI). After 15 years teaching various Sun/Solaris classes, John has turned his attention primarily to the world of virtualization since becoming a VCI in 2004. John also holds VCP and ACHDS (Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist -- yes he's one of "those" Mac guys) certifications. When John isn't having fun with students in class he is busy finding ways to hack ESX server so it runs better on his Wintel Mac laptop running VMware Fusion!
