Brian has been working in the IT trenches since 1995. Over the years he has worn many hats including Consultant, Trainer, Systems Administrator, and Manager.  He holds vender certifications from VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, and CompTIA, including VCI, VCP (3 & 4), MCT, MCSE (NT4/2000), CCA, and A+.  Brian has also worked closely with Microsoft's certification group on the development of the Exchange server and Active Directory exams.

Brian began using VMware products with an early version of Workstation in 1999, later expanding into server virtualization in 2004 with ESX version 2.0. He has used every version of ESX/vSphere since, and has deployed hundreds of ESX servers throughout the world both as a consultant and as a full-time systems administrator.

Brian brings years of consulting and practical hands-on experience to the table, and loves to watch the little "lightbulbs" pop on when explaining new and exciting technology to his clients and students.
